High Fired Waterfall Porcelain Vase

We call this piece waterfalls because of the glaze pattern resembling warterfalls. This is a high fired piece, meaning it was fired in temperatures in excess of 2500 degrees. High fired pieces are prized because each glaze pattern is unique because the kiln temperature, rather than the artist, decides the outcome. These pieces are also rare because only a fraction of pieces ever survive the entire process. Many colors are present on this piece and it also features a crackled effect. A very beautiful piece one must see in person to appreciate. Measures 11.75 inches tall, by 6 inches at its widest. Weighs 5 pounds.
