LWQ Porcelain Plus is a unique and fine porcelain and pottery art gallery which offers a variety of high-quality, reasonably priced art pieces for the home and office. Founded in the early 1900s by Mr. Zhang in China, (LWQ brand had been a well know name since the early 1920s through 1940). LWQ re-established itself as a specialty retailer in Charlotte, North Carolina. We operated our first store by selling Jingdezhen Porcelain art to Asian customers at the Asian Mall in Charlotte, NC in early 2007. Due to overwhelming enthusiasm from customers other than the Asians, we decided to bring our porcelain and pottery art to the main stream. We have established retail locations in some of the most prominent malls in Charlotte, NC. While LWQ has grown considerably since its opening, we still strive to maintain the quintessence of a family business by offering carefully selected art pieces with outstanding customer service.

LWQ Porcelain Plus currently offers approximately 3,000 unique pieces of fine porcelain and pottery art, with our retail location able to meet the taste of different customers for every room in their home or office. We are headquartered in Charlotte, NC and have additional buying offices in China. LWQ Porcelain Plus is a privately owned company.

We specialize in Jingdezhen Porcelain as well as Da Jing Pottery. Shop for high-end Chinese porcelain art with us at LWQ Porcelain Plus. Most of our products are imported directly from Jingdezhen, China. Jingdezhen is called the Porcelain Capital of the World. It is the single place where all Chinese Imperial porcelain was made during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. You'll find very exquisite porcelain vases as well as statues at competitive prices. These are hand made and painted, limited edition items you can't find elsewhere. From large decorative porcelain vases signed by the artist, to high quality original statues, we have it here!

Q:What makes LWQ Porcelain Plus so different from others?

A:We offer only the finest porcelain and pottery. Many pieces are exclusive to LWQ such as Da Jing ceramics. We are not a store, but an art gallery.

Q:Why do I see similar items for lower prices at other retailers?

A:There are many different levels of quality. Most of the items other stores carry are slipcasted or mass produced by machine. Not only are our pieces carefully hand picked, but each one is hand made and or painted by skillful master potters. Our pieces are not merely decoration, but also are works of art. A cheaply priced piece usually means a lack in quality.

Q:What is Jingdezhen Porcelain?

A:Most of our porcelain pieces are 100% hand made from Jingdezhen China. Jingdezhen is known as the Porcelain capital of the world and has been producing fine China porcelain for 1000 years. In fact, porcelain originated in Jingdezhen.

Q:What is DaJing Pottery?

A:DaJing Pottery comes from the famous Chinese Pottery Art Studio named "Da Jing", which means Big Fountain in Chinese. Each piece is designed by educated art masters and are extremely limited. Each piece you see here, we only have one or two of. We are currently the only importer of DaJing pottery in the United States.

Q:What is Ru Porcelain?

A:Ru porcelain was exclusively for imperial use. It was produced on a small scale within a twenty-year period, and artisans familiar in its production techniques were few. There are believed to be just 60 pieces of Ru porcelain in existence. Of all ancient Chinese ceramics, those made in the Ru kilns are the most precious, mainly because they are so rare. A mere fragment of Ru kiln porcelain sells about US $122 USD. We currently carry high class replicas of these Ru Porecelains.

Q:What do you mean when you say that a piece is 100% hand made?

A:When we say 100% hand made, we mean it was hand thrown, hand fired, hand glazed, and hand painted. This is what makes our vases unique art pieces.

Q:I am interested in a certain piece, but plan to purchase later. Will you still have this piece in stock?

A:We cannot guarantee that the piece will be in stock. This is because all of our pieces are hand crafted, so each and everyone is unique. This is a benefit as it is guaranteed that no one will have a piece just like yours. However, similar pieces will be available.

Q:What kind of porcelian and pottery items do you carry?

A:We carry all types. We currently have sculptures, vases, and plates.

Q:If I am not satisfied with my purchase, can I return it?

A:We are proud to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This means that for any reason you are not satisfied with either the transaction, or the piece itself, you may request an exchange or full refund within 30 days. Simply visit our store location, or ship it back to us.
